BSF Troops in Ferozepur seize drone with heroin, pistol magazine

Ferozepur, October 12

On Friday, following the interception of a drone movement in the border area of district Ferozepur, BSF troops immediately activated the technical countermeasures to neutralize it. Subsequently, the BSF launched a search operation in the suspected dropping zone.

At about 02:40 pm, the troops successfully located and recovered the fallen drone along with one packet of suspected heroin (Gross weight- 498 Grams) and 01 empty pistol magazine in the area adjacent to the village- Raja Rai in Ferozepur district.

The recovered drone has been identified as a DJI MAVIC 3 Classic, manufactured in China.

This recovery highlights the analytical ability of the BSF intelligence wing about the smuggling tactics of Pak-based smugglers and the apt response of BSF troops, which foiled yet another attempt of illicit drone intrusion with contrabands from across the border.
