BSF seizes two Pakistani boats from Satluj River near BOP DT Mall

Ferozepur, April 3, 2017:  Border Security Force – BSF – 137 Bn keeping  a vigil on the Indo-Pak border seized two Pakistani boards from Satluj river near Border Out Post Dona Telu Mall – DT Mall near BP No.193, from IB 300 m Indian side and from border fence 500 m Pakistant side.

As per the information received from BSF officials, Pakistani fishermen were fishing into Indian side when Indian soldiers challenged them and on firing in the air they managed to escape by jumping in to the water.

On searching, two Pakistani boats and 400 kg fish along with fishing nets were recovered.

BSF officials are further investigating to the matter to ascertain the motive behind this movement in the river.
