BSF recovers heroin from farming field adjacent to Indo-Pak border in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, July 20, 2024: Today, during night hours, information about the presence of a suspected packet in the border area of Ferozepur district was received by the BSF troops. In response, the troops promptly searched the suspected area.
During the search operation, at around 12:20 am, the troops successfully recovered 1 packet of suspected heroin (Gross weight- 492 Grams). The narcotics were wrapped in yellow adhesive tape and an improvised iron ring was also found attached to the packet. This recovery occurred in a farming field adjacent to Village- Chak Bhange Wala in Ferozepur District.
Reliable information and prompt action by the BSF troops resulted in this significant recovery of narcotics smuggled from across the border.
