BSF recovered heroin packet on Ferozepur border
Ferozepur, January 30, 2025: On Tuesday, BSF intelligence wing shared information regarding presence of a packet of narcotics in the border area of district Ferozepur. Acting promptly, BSF troops conducted an extensive search operation in the suspected area.
2. During the search operation, at about 1145 am, troops successfully recovered 01 packet of suspected heroin (Net weight- 500 grams) from a farming field adjacent to village- Lakha Singh Wala in district Ferozepur. The narcotics were packed in a white colour polythene, which was wrapped in white colour adhesive tape and 02 radium sticks, black colour tape alongwith 01 improvised plastic hook.
3. Reliable input of BSF intelligence wing and quick response of BSF troops foiled yet another illicit attempt of drugs smuggling from across the border.
