BSF nabs Pakistan intruder at Indo-Pak border in Punjab’s Ferozepur
Ferozepur, January 10, 2021: The Border Security Force – BSF, has caught a Pakistani man who had managed to enter Indian Territory by crossing the India-Pakistan border in Punjab.
According to the initial input, the Pakistani man had managed to slip through the barbed wires, which mark the international border, without being noticed by the Border Security Force.
Pakistani intruder has been nabbed at the India-Pakistan border in Punjab’s Ferozepur, who had entered the Indian Territory near Shameke BOP, about 90 meters from Zero Line, on the outskirts of Guruharsahai. The BSF jawans warned him to stop there when they saw him intruding. BSF overpowered it and presented it to senior officials.
The officials of BSF and intelligence agencies are engaged in extensive interrogation of the said Pak citizen, identified as Manzoor Ahmed, 50 son of Bali Ahmed of village Boor Wala district Sihari State Punjab in Pakistan.
A case under Section 3 of Passport (Entry into India) Act 1920 and Section 14 of Foreigner Act 1946 and further investigations are on with Balraj Singh, IO appointed in this case.
