BSF foils attempt to smuggle contraband, recovers 4 packets heroin

Ferozepur, September 6, 2022: The Border Security Force (BSF) – first defence line of India – has recovered four packets of contraband suspected to be heroin in Abohar Sector.

Divulging with details, BSF official said, on 5th Sept’ 2022 during evening hours, a person of Village – Jangad Bhaini informed to Border Security Force troops that 04 Pkts of suspicious item are laying in his agricultural land on home – side of B S Fence, in Abohar Sector.Further, during search, BSF troops recovered 03 Pkts wrapped in yellow adhesive tape and 01 transparent Pkt (half – filled), Total – 04 Pkts (Gross weight – 3.780 Kgs) suspected to be Heroin alon gwith a waterproof carry bag wit illuminators.

Another nefarious attempt of Anti national elements to smuggle contraband was foiled. However, BSF is committed in fight against drugs, said BSF official.
