BSF arrest two persons, recover 1 kg heroin near international border

Ferozepur, February 3, 2020: BSF jawans arrested two persons with heroin from near international border, while one is still absconding.

As per the information, troops of the 136 Battalion got a tip off about dumping of heroin in the field near New Mohmaddi Wala and on search, 1 kg heroin was recovered besides arrest of two suspected persons identified as Sukhchain Singh of Jhuge Lal Singh and  Surinder Singh of Kamale Wala. The third per person Chandan Singh is absconding.

The police after registering a case has started further investigation with special focus on the course of receipt of heroin and links on Indian side for further supplies.
