BSF apprehends two smugglers from border village, seizes opium

Ferozepur, July 16, 2023:  On Saturday, during night hours on specific information, an operation was launched by BSF on the outskirts of Village – Dhukchi ke Dhushi, Distt – Ferozepur .

At about 0115 hrs, alert BSF troops apprehended two smugglers, who were coming from Ferozepur city along with contraband items suspected to be opium (Gross wt – 508 Gms) packed in black polythene.

The apprehended persons along with the recovered contraband handed over to PS – Sadar Ferozepur.  Thus, Vigilant troops of BSF, once again, were able to foil nefarious designs of smugglers.
