Bajaj of Kamal Sharma’s group becomes Ferozepur BJP Chief amid row

Ferozepur, January 8,2016 : BJP Councilor andPresident Aror Vansh Sabha, Devinder Bajaj have been elected though unanimously but under controversy as Ferozepur BJP President defeating his rival Rajesh Khurana.

Election Incharge Narotam Dev Ratti and Asstt.Incharge Election Mohal Singh Sethi formally announced the new Ferozepur BJP Chief.

Added here that in the row were number of candidates but at the last moment one candidate by the two groups were fielded.

While Devinder Bajaj was from Kamal Sharma’s group and Rajesh Khurna was fielded by Sukhpal Singh Nannu, former CPS, filed their nominations papers.

In the voting, only two votes from Mamdot circle to Rajesh Khurana while the votes from Ferozepur Cantt, Guruharsahai, Talwandi Bhai, Ferozshah, Zira, Makhu, Mallanwala and Ferozepur City were polled in favour of Devinder Bajaj.

It may also be mentioned that Devinder Bajaj was also the candidate for the post of Council President and on his being not elected, he had shown resentment.
