Amid corona-curfew, first marriage anniversary celebrated through digital world while sitting at distant places
Ferozepur, April 28, 2020: When life is confined to four walls due to pandemic coronavirus throughout the world and everything going upside down, the digital world has brought close to each with the help of various new software like – whatsapp, facebook, vidyoweb, zoom etc.
In this context, a family of Ferozepur – R K Avasthi, Commandant HG (Retd.), one son and daughter in law at Chandigarh (UT), son’s in-laws at Baghapurana (Moga) Punjab and second daughter and son in law at Japan – availed the facility of social media joined in four-framed web portal on mobile, to celebrate First Wedding Anniversary. Grandson – Shourya – out of clothes – is seen asking for cake.
Putting his hats off to the software engineers who too have become frontline warriors bringing close each other during this lockdown period, Avasthi said it is very unfortunate that due to curfew-lockdown throughout the world, meeting in the coming time is not possible for the moment as staying home is only safe. But it was definitely a different experience of changing new lifestyles, which we have to adopt in the future.
He also appealed to the people to stay home to save the lives of others who are working outside risking their lives.
We will definitely be out of this web as there is always a sunrise after the dark night, said Avasthi in a choked but hopeful voice.
