Akali workers on dharna in front of police office
Ferozepur, August 2, 2017: Akali leaders and workers led by Jatedera Hari Singh Zira, former MLA, today sat on dharna in front of the police office at Zira sub division of the district to register their protest against the false implication of SAD works by the Congress government.
Accusing the the Congress-led government in Punjab, Hari Singh Zira, former MLA, Karaj Singh Ahla Chairman, Sukhdev Singh Lohuka said, the Congress government is working with revengeful attitude and implicating the Akali workers in false cases but they will not allow any injustice to happen to its workers.
They further said, the Congress government has not fulfilled even a single promise it had made with the voters of Punjab ahead Assembly elections rather busy in allotting the sand mines to the influential people.
Giving a warning to the government, Hari Singh Zira said, in case the false registered cases against the Akali workers are not cancelled, the agitation will be intensified.
