Administration Involves Locals To Upgrade Skill Development Centers In Ferozepur
Ferozepur, October 28, 2016: To update the 8 Skill Development Centers already working in Ferozepur including RSETI – Rural Self Employment Training Institute by Oriental Bank of Commerce – to provide skills and find jobs or starting own business, for young and underprivileged citizens, the district administration has join hands with the local NGOs in updating and upgrading these centers with full utilizations.
Added here, Er.Kharbanda has already been awarded with Skoch Award of Merit by a Hyderbad based institution, on being adjudged amongst the “Top 100 Projects in India” for the year 2016 when a jury of eminent experts and Secretariat of Skoch Group who made this selection after going through a large number of nominations and presentations of projects – Beautification & Enhancement of Greenery in District, Skill Development and Self Employment.
Er.DPS Kharbanda, Deputy Commissioner, Ferozepur in a meeting held today expressed his desire to visit these centers from time to time, motivate the trainees at the end of the session and help them in setting up their own business with the help of loan under various available schemes from the nearby banks.
