BSF seizes heroin from near Indo-Pak Punjab order
Ferozepur, September 21, 2020: On 21 Sep 2020 alert Border Security Force troops seized weight approx. 1.074 Kg) of contraband suspected to be heroin in the area of responsibility of 136 Bn BSF, Ferozepur Sector.
Vigilant troops of Border Security Force once again thwarted the attempt of Anti-National Elements, to push the consignment of contraband items into India.
During the year 2020, BSF has effected seizures on Punjab Border as Heroin : 402.278 Kgs (including today’s seizure ), Indian Border Crosser Apprehended : 91 Nos, Pak Intruder : 10 Nos, Weapon (Different Types) : 32 Nos, Magazine(Different Types) : 57 Nos, Ammunition(Various Calibres) : 650 Rds, Pak Mobile Phone : 06 Nos. Pak SIM Card : 10 Nos
