Covid-19: Three booked for tearing up ‘Home Under Quarantine’ sticker
Ferozepur, August 2, 2020: Home Under Quarantine poster put up in Ferozepur to prevent the spread of novel Coronavirus, the health department started putting up posters outside the house declared with positive cases, but in case of removing the same violating the Covid-19 medical protocols, the Health Department has got booked three members of the family for allegedly tearing up a poster outside their house.
The Chief Minister through Facebook live has warned of dangerous consequences for the state, which has been witnessing a spike in cases over the past few days, if people continue violating medical protocols on Covid.
Added here, in the past few days, there had been an unprecedented spike in the Corona positive cases detected in different localities in the district, in a single day, which created a terror among the locals.
The Corona positive family members were shifted to the Isolation Ward of Civil Hospital with pasting a notice of Covid-19 outside their house on detection of a female member of Municipal Commissioner of Kasur Gate, to make the people aware of the danger and avoid to be in their contacts.
Now the family members have been alleged for removing the notice on the complaint of a nearby resident Parvinder Kumar to the police. The police have booked the husband of his wife found positive, ward MC and his brother for trying to spread the virus by not following the government instructions.
In fact, feeling insulted on declaring them as Corona positive, the notice pasted outside their house was removed. However, on the other hand, the alleged accused have denied that they had any role in tearing up the message.
