Nine addicts flee from private drug de-addiction centre
Ferozepur, November 8, 2018: Nine drug addict youths have managed to flee a from a private Jeevan Dan Drug De-addiction Centre and one is reported to have died while another’s leg has been injured.
As per the information, nine inmates managed to escape by breaking the grill on the roof and with the falling of roof, one youth Sukhminder Singh died while leg of Kulwider Singh was injured.
The others have been identified as Manpreet Singh, Gurvinder Singh, Gurvinder Singh of Dharam Sing Wala, Gurcharan Singh of Faridkot, Parbhjinder Singh of Lopo Tehsil Ajnala, Raj Kumar of Pandori Khatrian and Karamjit Singh of Khadoor.
Giving clarification, the owner of Jeevan Dan Drug De-addiction Centre said, there are complete arrangements of security and there is no shortage of anything but it is not understood as to why these youths have fled away.
On the other hand, on the statement of Nirlep Kaur, wife of Sukhmidner Singh who died while running away a case has been registered against the centre.
