DC conducts surprise check of Civil Hospital
Ferozepur, July 3, 2018” Under the mission of Tandarust Punjab, Deputy Commissioner Sh, Ramvir visited Civil Hospital Firozpur and checked various wards of the hospital including Medical Store, Emergency Ward, Drug de-addiction centre etc.
During the checking of the medical ward, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the drugs including various medicines and the report was also taken from the concerned officials.
He said that the reports of the medicines should be sent to them as soon as possible. He further said that if any kind of discrepancy is found in the report of the medicines, appropriate action would be taken against the concerned authorities.
Deputy Commissioner said that the main purpose of this checking under the mission of Tandrust Punjab is to get information about whether the health facilities being provided to the public are given in a correct way or not.
He also gave instructions to the staff in the hospital that patients should provide uninterrupted high-level healthcare facilities. He also told the staff that the health facilities provided to the people should benefit the public and general public should not have any problem in getting health facilities.
DC also directed the Health Department officials to make special arrangements for the treatment of diseases such as dengue, malaria etc. and also enquired about measles-rubella vaccinations etc.
Later on, he also talked to the patients and directed the officials to further improve the quality of services.
He also visited drug de-addiction centres and urged the people to bring the drug-addicted persons at the drug de-addiction centres and Oat centres so that the mission could be properly managed by the people of the state and the drug addicts could be brought under the mainstream of mission Tandrust Punjab.
On this occasion, SMO Dr Ashutosh Talwar, Dr Rachana Mittal etc. were present.
