BSF organizing 24 days Summer Camp at Jalandhar
Jalandhar, June 6, 2018: Border Security Force – India’s First Line of Defence, organizing 24 days Summer Camp – 4-28 June 2018 at Ashwani Stadium at Frontier HO, BSF Jalandhar.
BSF always gives special attention to the overall development of children so that they are successful in all the fields in their life. Keeping this aim in view, Frontier HO, BSF Jalandhar has organized Summer Camp for the children. During this Summer Camp, the number of activities will be arranged under the tutelage of experienced coaches of BSF and Civil to bring on the surface the hidden talent of the students and they may have overall development.
To inculcate the feeling of living in group and to create awareness towards fitness, indoor and outdoor games like football, basketball, gymnastics, chess and other activities – art, painting, horse riding, dance, music, soduku etc are organized.
As many as 140 students from different age groups are participating in this camp which will conclude on June 28, 2018.
On the first day on 4th June, Hot Ballon and Parasailing activities were performed in Ashwani Stadium to create interest of BSF and their family members towards courageous games.
Besides, on World Cycle Day, a cycle rally was also arranged to create awareness and to give a message to the people, about fitness which was participated by 15 cyclists, covering a distance of 35 km.
On this occasion, Mukul Goyal, Inspector General, BSF, Punjab Frontier, BSF, Madhu Sudan Sharma, DIG BSF President Staff Officers and other officers, jawans, parents and children enjoyed the events.
