Punjab Elementary Teachers Union urges DEO(E) Ldh to honour genuine demands

Ferozepur, September 18, 2017 : Punjab Elementary Teachers Union, Ludhiana Unit led by Satvir Singh Roni, District President, in its meeting with the District Education Officer, Smt.Jaspreet Kaur urged her to finalize the seniority of ETT and Head Teachers at the earliest and simultaneously consider their promotion cases besides balance payment of the teachers shifted from Panchayati Raj Institutions-PRI on account of anomaly in their pay scales.

The Union also demanded to take strict actions against the concerned BPEOs those who have not initiated the confirmation cases up to 31.8.2017.  Similarly, the action against Khanna-I BPEO for not withdrawing the salary and DA of the teachers.

The Union also demanded immediately send the amount and wheat to the schools.   Giving a warning they said, the teachers will not run the Mid Day Meal activity till such time the advance arrangements are not made. At the same time, the officers pressurizing for running the MDM should be discouraged.

Talking about another demand of electricity bills of the school, he said, this demand too should be fulfilled without any delay.

The Union leaders asked to stop the written ‘dak’ from the office, SSA and from teachers and employees of other projects in violation of the orders of Secretary Education.

Present among others in the meeting were Sarabjit Singh Chokman, Harwinder Happy, Jagroop Singh Chillo, Varinder Agnihotri and Rajinder Kumar.
