SELCOME Society organizes Selkotronics-2K17 at SBS Tech Campus in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, March 15, 2017 : A two day technical function “Selkotronix-2K17” was organized by Society of Electronics and Communication Engineers (SELCOME) at SBSSTC, Ferozepur. The Chief Co-ordinator and Professor, Dr. AK Tyagi inaugurated the event.
The inaugural function started with lighting of lamp by Prof. Dr. AK Tyagi and other dignitaries. Dean (Sports and Culture) Dr. AK Asati, Registrar Mr. JK Aggarwal and Head of the various departments also graced the function.
In the inaugural address, Dr. AK Tyagi congratulated the SELCOME team for putting their efforts in organizing the function in a smooth and magnificent manner and also wished the “Selkotronix-2K17” a grand success.
Dr. Rajni, Head of the ECE department gave welcome address and short description about the events. She conveyed her best wishes to organizing team. After inauguration, a number of technical events like Robo-Soccer, Extempore, Project and Paper presentation, Junk yard and Circuit Designing etc. were organized and about more than 160 students participated in the different events.
On 2nd day, campus Director Dr.T.S. Sidhu congratulated the students, applauded the SELCOME team for commendable efforts and awarded the certificates to the winners.
The program ended with vote of thanks by ‘Selkotronix-2K17’ Co-ordinator, Mr. Chakshu Goel. Other faculty members Mr. Vivek Soi, Mr. Karamjeet Singh, Mr. Ravi Kant Grover, Mr. Amit Grover, Mr. Gurmeet Singh, Mrs. Jaswinder Kaur, Ms. Amanpreet Kaur and Ms. Inderbir Kaur were also present and congratulated the students.
