SAD(A) & Sarbat Khalsa planners climbed atop Water Tank to register protest in Ferozepur

Ferozepur, November 8, 2016:  On denying the permission, the Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) and the planners of various Sikh organizations for Sarbat Khalsa on November 10 at Talwandi Sabo, the block Mamdot leaders of SAD(Mann) registered their protest by climbing atop the water tank.

Bhai Surat Singh and Baba Jagjit Singh climbed on the water tank said, Sarbat Khalsa was called during the last year in view of sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib at various places in the state and this year also planned on November 10 at Talwandi Sabo to discuss the various issues with the Panthak organizations but official permission has not been granted by the district administration at the instance of state government.

The morale of Panthak feelers is high despite ban by the government but there will be a mammoth gathering at the Sarbat Khalsa event.

The police was trying to bring the protesters down till the filing of this report, the sources said.
