RENDEZVOUS 2K’16 (Fresher’s Party) organized in S B S State Technical Campus     A fresher’s party was organized in the Engineering Wing of Shaheed Bhagat Singh State Technical Campus, Ferozepur. Second year B. Tech. students of 2015 batch welcomed their immediately junior batch of 2016 with great pump and show.   Campus Director, Dr. T. S. Sidhu was Chief Guest during this function. A very beautiful cultural extravaganza displaying the gigantic inherent talent in young students of SBSSTC was performed by SECA (Society of Extra Curricular Activities) under the guidance of Prof Gazal Preet Arneja, Dean Sports and Culture Activities and Principal Poly Wing, Coordinator (SECA) Munish Kumar, Co-Cordinator SECA Dr. Amit Arora and Co-Cordinator (SECA) Ms. Navdeep Kaur.   The entire audience was thrilled by two stunning Bhangra dance performance by 2^nd year B Tech students. Mr. Fresher Gaurav Gwari of 1^st Year (CSE) and Ms. Gurleen Kaur Dhillon of 1^st Year (CSE) was adjudged as Mister RENDEZVOUS 2K’16 and Miss RENDEZVOUS 2K’16.   Karan and Jatin performed a very beautiful duet song, Atul performed a solo dance, Azrudein performed standup comedy, First year and second year performed the skits and Mr. Ashish also sung a Melodious song.   Mr. Diwakar Mittal and Adarsh Gaurav were the presidents of this fresher’s party.   Director Dr T S Sidhu in his speech praised the second year B Tech students for coming forward voluntarily in welcoming their juniors. He also praised Dean Cultural Affairs Prof Gazal Preet Singh, SECA-Coordinator and SECA Co-Coordinator’s and that too in a short span of time.   Finally, Dr. Amit Arora in his vote of thanks praised Campus Director Dr T S Sidhu for providing all possible help for arranging this function. Dinner was arranged for the students and staff. The function concluded with dance by students.   Stage anchoring was done by Ms Esha (Computer Engg), Ms Arpita (Chemical Engg), Ms. Mitali (Computer Engg), Ms. Sharnpreet Kaur(ECE), Ms. Tripat (Civil), Mr Mandeep Singh (Electrical Engg) , Mr. Vaibhav (Civil), Mr. Shahank (CSE) and Mr Ankit (Chemical Engg).
