Gurdeep Singh Dhillon appointed as Secretary, Punjab Pardesh Congress Committee

Ferozepur, August 28, 2016:  Gurdeep Singh Dhillon – loyal worker of Congress party since 1997 – has been appointed as Secretary of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee attached with Capt Amarinder Singh, MP and President, PPCC.

Gurdeep Singh Dhillon sharing his association with the party said,  I started my political career as Secretary District Congress Committee in 1997 and since then associating with the party in or the other position.

His other positions were – Spokesman of Congress Committee for 1999-2001, General Secretary District Congress Committee 2002-04, Senior Member Municipal Committee in 2004, Senior Vice President, Municipal Committee in 2006, Vice President, DCC for 2007-11, Senior Vice Pesident, DCC in 2012-15, Vice President, Jatt Maha Sabha Punjab 2015-16 and recently appointed as Secretary Punjab Pardesh Congress Committee.

Conveying his best wishes on the appointment of  Gurdeep Singh Dhillon as his Secretary, at PPCC HQ at Chandigarh, Capt Amarinder Singh said, he expects from him to put in all his best efforts to strengthen the party and come up to the expectations of the Congress President Sonian Gandhi and Vice President Rahul Gandhi.

When talked to Gurdeep Singh Dhillon said, he will continue to serve the Congress party as a dedicated and devoted worker and put all out efforts in the coming Assembly elections in early 2017 and hopeful of Congress coming into power with majority.
