AAP to pay big price in Assembly Elections 2017
Ferozepur, July 7, 2016: Resentment prevails among the people for insulting and disrespecting Guru Granth Sahib by equating itnwith a frivolous manifesto released by Aam Aadmi Party Convenor Arivind Kejriwal and for publishingthe Golden Temple’s picture on its manifesto along with the party’s symbol “Broom”.
Taking these issues very serious, Rana Gurmeet Singh Sodhi, Congress MLA from Guruharsahai and Vice President, Punjab Pardesh Congress Committee, informed that this is an act of blasphemy and Kejriwal has hurt the sentiments of Sikh community worldwide including the various religious organizations.
He said, Ashish Khetan, youth leader of AAP has also committed a sin by equating religious sacred books like Sri Guru Granth Sahib and Geeta with the manifesto of the party.
Rana Sodhi said, the people of Punjab will not tolerate the insult of religious places and scriptures at any cost.
He appealed to Jathedars of Akal Takht to call Kejriwal personally to tender apology.
For advertising the manifesto of the party in an improper manner, the Aam Aadmi Party has to pay a big price during the coming Assembly elections 2017, Rana Sodhi added.
