Lumax Ind Ltd selects 22 students during Pool Placement Drive in SBS Technical Campus Polytechnic Wing
Ferozepur, May 31, 216 : Top Multinational Automotive Lights manufacturing company Lumax Industries Limited selected 22 Diploma students during Pool Campus Placement Drive at Polytechnic Wing of Shaheed Bhagat Singh State Technical Campus, Ferozepur. Four institutes namely SBSSTC Ferozepur, GPC Ferozepur, GPCW Ludhiana and BIS Polytechnic participated in this pool campus drive. The Company is offering annual salary package of Rs.1.5 lacs.
Out of these Twenty two selected students, 12 students are from Polytechnic Wing of this Campus, 2 students are from Government Polytechnic College Ferozepur, 5 students are from Government Polytechnic College for Women Ludhiana and 3 students are from BIS Polytechnic College Kot-Ise-Khan. Out of total 22 selected students in this Campus Placement Drive, 8 are girls students and rest are boys.
Dr. T. S. Sidhu, Campus Director appreciated the efforts of Training and Placement Cell of Poly Wing for organising Campus Drive. Prof Gazal Preet Singh, Principal Poly Wing and Mr Retaish Uppal, Training and Placement Officer Poly Wing congratulated all the selected students and conveyed them best wishes for their Career.
On this occasion Prof Gobind, HOD Mechanical Engg, Prof. Ajay Kumar Training Incharge ECE and Mr. Rajesh Kumar Training Incharge Electrical Engineering Department congratulated their students for this achievement. It is also worth to mention here that two top companies namely Ahresty Corporation (Japanese MNC) and Everest Industries Limited are visiting this Polytechnic Wing on 4th June for hiring of Diploma Engineer Trainees (DET’s) in Mechanical Engg, ECE, Electrical Engg and Civil Engineering.
