Ferozepur, March 22, 2016 : With the sincere efforts of Punjab BJP President, Kamal Sharma, “Amar Jyoti” was installed at Hussainiwala National Martyrs’ Memorial today a day before the National Martyrs’ Day celebrations at the same place.
Added here that the state BJP President had brought the matter into the notice of Union Petroleum Minister a few days back whe a two member team from Indane compny had paid the visit to the memorial for the execution of the project. Due to his stringent efforts, the martyr’s memorial has become vivid with “Amar Jyoti”.
However, the formal inauguration of Amar Jyoti will made tomorrow by the Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal, said Kamal Sharma.
While thanking the union minister for Installing Amar Jyoti at Martyrs Memorial Sharma said that it is a true tribute to those legendry freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for mother nation.
Er. DPS Kharbanda, Deputy Commissioner, Ferozepur said that due to efforts made by Sharma, a light and sound show at Martyr’s Memorial will also be started very soon.
On this occasion, Sandip Singh Garha, SDM, Ferozepur, Ashwani Grover, President, Municipal Council, Vijay Behal, Naib-Tehseeldar, Jugraj Singh Katora, President, Market Committee, Ferozepur and others were present.
