Four suspected persons spotted in border town, extensive joint search operation on by police and BSF

Ferozepur, January 22, 2016:  Just after ten days afer the fake call of infiltration of terrorists in Ferozepur Cantonment area, the residents of border town Guruharsahai claimed to have seen few unidentified  persons carrying firearms.

According to the information, Harjinder Kumar of village Chhanga Rai Hittar informed the police about the suspicious nature persons. Another resident Bhushan Kumar also confirmed some unidentified persons seen near the cremation ground.

Senior police officials including Amar Singh Chahal, DIG, Ferozepur Range, Hardyal Singh Mann, SSP, Ferozepur, Sulakhan Singh, DSP, Guruharsahai, Gajraj Yadav, Commandant BSF 137 Bn also reached at Village Changa Rai Hithar to monitor the situation.

However, nothing objectionable was found during the joint operation carried out  by police and BSF taking no chance in view of recent terrorists activities in other parts of the state.

Added here that on January 16, a GPS device Made in Taiwan was also found near the railway police station which was sent to the Delhi for analysis purposes.
