Visually Impaired team from Pune along with members of PRERNA – an NGO – visits Ferozepur
On the second day, a team from Pune of visually impaired persons including one girl, had interaction with students at SBS Engineering College and SBS Nursing College. In between they also visited Home for the Blinds and shared their experiences with inmates of Home for the Blind and what more is yet to be done for the welfare of visually impaired class treating them as a part of our society. They don't need sympathy but to create an opportunity for them to stand on their own feet without any dependence. And it should be a joint venture of visually impaired and sighted persons. Let each one come forward for them. May the Nature help you in helping the visually impaired.
Present on this occasion were – members of Paddlers Club, Mohan Lal Bhaskar Foundation, Teachers Club, Agreed Foundation and Kashmiri Lal a product of Blind Home, now retired Lecturer from DIET along with his two sons
On Sunday, the visually impaired persons including one girl, along with the members of PRERNA – an NGO from Pune, associated with them during the visit – had celebrated Bhaiya Doojh with the BSF jawans at Hussainiwala Indo-Pak Border.
