Earthquake jolts felt in large parts of North India

Ferozepur, October 26, 2015: People in Ferozepur were alert after tremors were felt in the city. The tremor was felt at 2.45 pm for few seconds while the massive shaking was felt for the second time at 2.47 pm for about two minutes

A massive earthquake measuring 7.7 on the Richter Scale is reported to have rattled north India today.

People were seen coming out of the buildings and houses while the walls, furniture, vehicles were also felt shaking.

However, no loss of life or property was reported in this part of the North India.
