Ferozepur, September 7, 2015: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has been in crisis since the time it came to power in Delhi earlier this year is making news for all the wrong reasons – call it the internal rift, clash of ideas, blame game or a hunger to rule and today followed by the resignation of Amandeep Kaur as Member State Mahila Wing, leveling charges on the senior leaders for showing grace.
Speaking to the media persons at the press conference called in the Press Club today, Amandeep Kaur said that she has resigned from Aam Aadmi Party as the party workers – Devinder Singh, Harpreet Singh Sandhu and Jaspal Singh Virk have shown disgrace to her. They are trying to exploit me by making viral of my fake photo on social media.
She said, AAP is a party of flatterer and woman are not safe in the party.
Telling her tale, she said, during May 2015, some party workers have tried to defame her and made viral fake photo on the social media under her name. She had appirsed Suchha Singh Chottepur, Convener Punjab and Munish Sisodia, Deputy Chief Minister, Delhi for taking action against three party workers.
Further narrating story, she said, on May 6 in one of the AAP meeting at Mohali, the three party workers misbehaved with her which I cannot explain in words. The protest was also lodged with Munish Sisodia on July 27, 2015 but neither any action has been taken against the alleged workers nor any reply given to me so far.
Amandeep Kaur said, the AAP had recognized the capitalists in the party by giving them key posts whereas she has been ignored on all fronts.
She said, I don’t want to keep the people in dark as the women workers in AAP are not safe.
Levelling charges on Gurvinder Singh Kang brother of Phulka Singh, she said, instead of supporting me, he too is taking the side of fraudulent persons.
She also tried to meet Arvind Kejriwal alongwith one of the MLA from Delhi, but she was refused to meet, what to say of getting justice ! Kejriwal too is after highlighting his own name in the politics, she added.
Despite giving message of Sanjay Singh and Chottepur, there is no response so far with regard to my protest. The workers have no standing in the party and the AAP is confined to only favoritism with members of the family.
There may be number of workers like me and appeal to them also to come forward openly to expose the party’s inner ideology.
In reply to the question, Amandeep Kaur said, she has neither been influenced nor likely to join the any other political party at present but will concentrate on social works locally.
