No fresh advance railway ticket booking at counters till March 31, reservation through IRCTC to remain open
Ferozepur, March 23, 2020: To contain the spread of COVID-19 and to avoid gathering of the crowd in public places like Railway stations, all train services have been cancelled up to 31-3-2020. So all UTS and PRS tickets counters will remain closed up to 31-3-2020.
However, the refund of fare of all trains cancelled by Railways for the journey period from 21st March to 21st June 2020, can be taken on submission of ticket up to 3 months from date of the journey at Railway reservation counters after 31.3.2020.
The railway authorities have requested the passengers not to visit stations for claiming refund of the reserved ticket at PRS counters in Reservation office as they will not be functioning.
No fresh advance booking in ticket counters in Reservation office will be done up to 31-3-2020. However online booking for advance reservation through IRCTC website will remain open.
