8 railway employees booked for thrashing colleague
Ferozepur, June 18, 2017: On Saturday, the situation became tense in front of the office of Divisional Rail Manager when around 8 employees seriously injured an employee. A case has been registered against them under various sections.
Giving more details, Rajbir Singh said, Mahant Raj had come to him for issue of railway pass facility. He said, he had only said to him that his pass is ready with OS and kept on the table. The way he said irritated him and reacting to this, Mahant Raj along with his union members attacked on him in the afternoon. In the meantime, around 7-8 employees also beat him, showed disrespect to his turban besides snatching the gold chain.
He further said, during this scuffle, he was injured and admitted in the hospital.
ASI Ashwani Kumar holding enquiry into the incident informed that on the statement of complainant Rajbir Singh, a case has been registered under Sections 324, 323, 355, 379, 148 and 149 IPC against Rajesh Kumar, SSE Power Amritsar, Kanwar Singh COS Bill Section DRM Office Ferozepur, Manohar Prasar, CIT Ludhiana, Raman Malhtra, Chief Welfare Inspector Ludhiana, Ashwani Grover, Welfare Inspector Ludhiana, Dharamvir Khalasi Power Ferozepur, Neeraj, CNW Ferozepur and Sameerpa, l Booking Clerk, Ludhiana.
