4 deaths, 224 fresh corona +ve cases reported in Ferozepur

Ferozepur, May 6, 2021:  Four deaths and 224 Corona positive cases were reported in Ferozepur district on Thursday, taking the total tally of deaths to 241 and active cases to 1,255.

Hardly there is any day, during the last two months, when corona positive case has not been reported.  Health department, civil administration and police are working day and night to create awareness and appealing to the people to come out only in emergent cases and continue to follow the guidelines of Covid-19 protocols, to put a check on further spread of virus and its eradication.

As per information, 1,37,530 samples were taken since the outbreak of Coronavirus, out of which 1,28,232 tested negative, 8,398 positive, 6,907 recovered and 1,255 still active.  However, the reports of 900 samples are still awaited.

Four deaths include 54 and 63 years female and 37 and 86 years male in Ferozeshah, Mamdot, Urban blocks in the district.

In the vaccination drive, 1518 were vaccinated today and so far, 781,30 persons have been vaccinated including frontline and health workers.
