20 more Covid +ve cases reported in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, April 23, 2023: With 20 more Covid-19 positive cases reported in Ferozepur, the total tally has gone to 60 in the district.
As per the information, as on date, since the spread of infection in this part, 4,22,967 samples were taken – 2,54,979 RTPCR, 1,57,429 Rapid Atigen Test, 10,559 Truenat including 20 – 14 Rapid and 6 Truenat samples. Against this sampling, 18,550 were positive, 17949 were recovered while 4,04,417 were negative with no pending sampling result.
Out of the total 60 active cases in the district, 48 are under Hi and 12 L2 with O2. In the past only one death was reported while the total deaths during the pandemic were 540 in the district.
Speaking on the occasion, District Epidemiologist, Ferozepur has asked the residents to restrain from joining the crowded places besides following the Covid Appropriate Behaviour. Further, immediate on getting the symptoms of any infection, one must visit the Civil Hospital for free testing and follow the instructions if found positive, to avoid its further transmission.
