2 bike lifters arrested by Ferozepur police, 27 bikes recovered
Ferozepur, April 26, 2021: Under the special campaign against anti-social elements, the Ferozepur police arrested two persons of bike lifting gang and with recover of 27 stolen bikes.
Giving this information, SSP Bhagirath Singh Meena, SSP said, Out of four, two bike lifters gang members have arrested with 27 stolen motorcycles and remaining two will also be nabbed shortly.
He said, the arrested accused are identified as Amandeep Singh of Ghall Khurd and Parvinder Singh of Talwandi Bhai and Jaskaran Singh of Shehzadi and Arshdeep Singh of Ferozshah are yet to be arrested.
Working on a tip off, the police team headed by Gurmit Singh Cheema, SP(Operation), Ravinder Pal Singh, DSP(I) and Jatinder Singh In charge CIA along with Rajesh Kumar Inspector, nabbed two members of gang running a gang of bike lifting in the adjoining areas and further selling it the market were arrested and 27 bikes were recovered from their possession.
He said, the accused will be produced in the court to get remand and during investigation, more recoveries are expected and the remaining two accused will also be arrested shortly.
