SDM visits three Govt Schools in Ferozepur
PTM/INSPIRE MEET to help parents-teachers to understand educational needs
Ferozepur, September 3, 2022: Under directions of the Punjab government, Ranjit Singh Bhullar, SDM Ferozepur today visited three Government Sr. Sec. School Usmanwala, Arif Ke and Attari, under the programme PTM/INSPIRE Meet 2022, to maintain better coordination between the teachers and students, with special focus on to ensure regular attendance of students in the schools. to get feed back and apprise the parents about the progress of their wards.
DM said, this will be an interactive event in which the parents will be informed about the performance of the students, he said.
Bhullar said, Parent teacher meeting is a prominent and notable feature of the school curriculum. the education department has fixed September 3 as Parents-Teacher-Meeting (PTM) with an aim to put wiser the parents about the various extended facilities available at the government schools, to get feedback to further uplift the standard of education.
He said, in this context, three schools were visited today, as per the directions of the Punjab government, to have close interaction of parents with teachers with regard to progress shown by their wards and finding workable solutions to the problems, if any, coming in the way of development.
Bhullar however, advised parents to maintain cordial relations with the teachers and ensure that their wards regularly attend the school.
SDM also the teachers to ensure more constructive efforts for the all-round development of the students of the government schools. He said, the students of government schools have a lot of talent, which needs to be nurtured and shown the right way.
