Zira Stir: Health Deptt teams collect 73 samples from different places
Ferozepur, January 2, 2023: Amid the ongoing protest by Sanjha Morcha at Zira against the Malbros International Private Limited – ethanol plant and the committees are collecting the samples. In all, 73 different samples were taken from inside and outside the factory.
Divulging with details, Sagar Setia, Additional Deputy Commissioner said the committees constituted for the investigation of Malbrose International Private Limited Mansoorwal Kalan (Liquor Factory), including the committee regarding soil and crops, from different places inside the liquor factory today, the sampling of soil was done and in the same way, sampling of soil and crops is being done in the area.
He said, the health department has also completed the work including the sampling by its teams. Similarly, 30 animal blood samples, 30 excrement samples, 9 fodder samples and 4 feed samples have been collected by the GADVASU committee formed for the inspection of livestock. He said that the water sampling committee will collect the samples on Tuesday.
