Youths faces inconvenience for TET fee deposit, line-up outside bank
Ferozepur December 26, 2017: With the closure of banks due to three holidays on 23, 24 and 25 December, the youths who have prepared themselves for Teachers Eligibility Test – TET – to be held on December 31, had to face a lot of inconvenience for depositing the registration at the banks.
The registration has to be deposited with the Education Department by December 27 with the concerned Punjab National Bank which takes 24 hours for its confirmation. All other formalities like an issue of role number, allotment of centre etc. can only be taken up if once the fee is deposited and confirmation is received followed by another major problem of reaching the examination centres on time.
Majority of the parents of aspirant’s students are of the view that the government is merely doing a drama for taking the test by giving a short time.
On the other hand, the educationists say that the Punjab government should make all pre-arrangements for such examinations.
When talked to technocrats, he opined that we are still lacking in a 24×7 power supply and uninterrupted internet facility otherwise depositing of fee and confirmation is not that big issue in the digital world.
