Youth leader Kulbir Singh Zira Congress nominee from Zira constituency pays obeisance to martyrs

FEROZEPUR, December 18, 2016 : Punjab Youth Congress Vice-President and Congress nominee from Zira constituency, Kulbir Singh Zira along with his supporters reached martyrs memorial today before kicking off his election campaign.

Kulbir Singh Zira is the son of Inderjit Singh Zira former Cabinet Minister.  Kubir Singh Zira will have direct fight with Hari Singh Zira, sitting MLA of Akali Dal.  However, AAP has also announced its young candidate Gurmit Sngh Gora in the field for the coming elections.

Added here, the importance of Zira constituency is that in all the elections after the independence of India till 2002,  Akali Dal candidate was never defeated.

Kulbir said that we must bow our head to our martyrs who made prime sacrifices for us and for our country. Kulbir said that he is confident that the voters of Zira constituency will support him whole heartily. He said that under the dynamic leadership of Capt. Amarinder Singh, Congress will certainly form the government and will end the reign of terror unleashed by SAD leaders.

Taunting on the demonetization move of BJP government, Kulbir said that the results of Punjab election will let the central government know how fed up the common man is with this decision of the PM. Taking a jibe on AAP leaders, Kulbir said that they  have nothing to do except “nautanki”.

On this occasion Gurbhej Singh Tibbi, Secretary, Youth Congress Punjab, Jadeep Singh Goldy, Sharanjit Singh, Kaka Brar, Harmanbir Singh, Sukhchain Singh, Harpal Tibbi, Dilbagh Singh, Rajbir Singh Sandhu, Ranjit Singh, simran Kaura, Gurnam Singh, Deepu Kamboj and other supporters were with him.
