Bidhurai also said we should respect the Martyrs who lost their lives fighting for the freedom of India and also the para-military forces, BSF, Army of police officers who are ensuring us as safe citizens and sleep in our houses peacefully.
It is also very important that the current generation, the youth, value their Independence and understand how it has been achieved. he added.
He also advocated for Swabhiman Card from the government for martyr’s families to provide them with all facilities like education, health, employment. After all, we cannot forget the great service they have rendered to our nation and have laid down their lives in the line of duty, the President further said.
In a warning tone to the government, he said, it is very unfortunate that those who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the country have not been given the status of martyr so far. Our fight to get the status of martyrs for those who laid down their lives would continue, till such time it is notified by the government.
