Webinar held on National Science Day at DSCW
Ferozepur, February 28, 2033: A webinar was held on ‘National Science Day’, today at Dev Samaj College for Women (DSCW), Postgraduate Botany department, on the topic “Role of Micronutrients and Organic Fertilizer for Sustainable Farming in India”.
National Science Day is celebrated in India on February 28th each year to mark the discovery of the Raman effect by Indian physicist Sir C. V. Raman on 28 February 1928.
- In 1986, the Govt. of India designated February 28 as National Science Day to commemorate the announcement of the discovery of the ‘Raman Effect’s.
In this webinar, participants from different regions of the country joined the event.
Key-note speaker of the day was Dr. Ashwani Kumar, Associate Professor, Biotechnology, KVSCOS, Swami Vivekananda Subharti Vishwavidyalaya, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, who provided important information on Micronutrients and Organic Fertilizers.
Dr. Ashwani Kumar also explained in detail about the methods of making different types of natural fertilizers.
At the end of the webinar, Dr. Ashwani Kumar also answered the questions related to the topic of the participants.
Dr. Maninder Kaur expressed gratitude to the keynote speaker at the end of the webinar.
