Vigilance raids RTA office at Ferozepur

Ferozepur, 23 August 2022 :The RTA office of Ferozepur has once again come on the radar of Vigilance.

Vigilance Department Ferozepur team  under the tutelage of Raj Kumar Sama DSP Vigilance Bureau today raided and seized certain records.

In this regard, DSP Raj Kumar while giving information said that passing of old vehicles is being done against the rules by the motor vehicle inspector in Ferozepur.

DSP Raj Kumar said that the passing of old vehicles is done by the motor vehicle inspector on personal verification of only and about 30 to 40 old vehicles can be done in a day, but it has come to our notice that about 150 vehicles have been passed in a day which is not practically possible.

Vehicles are being passed without verification of the vehicles in conjunction with the passing agents, and related records have been seized and further action will be taken after scrutiny of  the same.
