VIF Chennai honours VWS Chairman with “Award for Emerging Leadership in School Education-2020”
Ferozepur, January 9, 2021: Vivekananda World School added yet another feather in its cap as the chairman of the school was honoured with the “Emerging Leadership Award in School Education”
Expressing his contentment on this occasion, Dr. S. N. Rudra, Director of the school, said that Saturday was a very auspicious day for the Vivekananda World School, when Hon’ble Justice T.N Vallinayanagam (Judge Lok Adalat and Former Judge-High Court Madras) alongwith Dr Ashalatha Radhakrishnan (SCTIMST, Trivanandrum) and Dr Santosh Kumar Misra (IIT, Kanpur) honoured Mr. Gaurav Sagar, the Chairman of the school with an award for “Emerging Leadership in School Education” for his meritorious contribution in education field was appreciated by Venus International Foundation at Green Park, Chennai.
Dr. Rudra informed that in a border town like Ferozepur, Vivekananda World School is fully equipped with modern facilities and has succeeded in establishing its unique identity in the heart of the local people by establishing new dimensions in a very short time. Even a pandemic like Corona, which literally brought the world to a standstill, could not beat the energy of Vivekananda World School. Not only was the academic education for the students well managed, but social service activities like ration distribution and ambulance were also provided to the local residents to cope with this disaster.
He said that within only 2.5 years of its establishment, Vivekananda World School is achieving beyond expectations. For this, the credit goes to the entire team- students, teachers and parents, whose hard work and dedication has made Vivekananda World School lead towards the path of success. Vivekananda World School is the only school in the district, where students are not limited to bookish knowledge but are being developed in every aspect of life. Equal opportunities are provided to all keeping in perspective the different qualities of each individual. The number of students has been kept limited providing a perfect teacher to student ratio and hence personal attention can be paid to the students. It is a consequence of all these factors that, within 2 years, Vivekananda World School has received the recognition of arts, commerce, medical and non-medical of 11th and 12th standard by CBSE.
The epicentre for Vivekananda World School to create its own unique identity is that here focus is provided on each student for their all round development keeping in mind the individual needs and qualities. The school doesn’t charge any extra payment in the garb of activities. That is why today Vivekananda World School has been able to make a mark in the field of education.
It is also worth mentioning here that Vivekananda World School received its first award for the Best Day Boarding School in Dubai in December 2018 followed by Outstanding Leadership award alongwith Best Director, Best Young Achiever Award at Chitkara University, Chandigarh in May 2019, International Education Icon Award in August 2019, International Award by American Leadership Board in December 2019, ‘BRAINFIELD School Excellence Award’ in February 2020, World Education Summit – 2020 in February 2020 and now School Leadership Award in January 2021.
