TCS to impart 100 hrs free training to candidates
Ferozepur, February 25, 2021: Following the protocols of Covid-19, Rozgar Mela was organized, on Thursday, under Ghar-Ghar Rozgar Yojna campaign by the Punjab Government at Bureau of Employment and Enterprises in which three companies – Bharti Axa, IBEX World and Airtel – visited for placement of 200 Marketing Executives.
During the period from April 2020 to Jan 2021, 58 camps were organized in which as many as 128 employers visited. In all, 22,286 vacancies were available against which 16,069 candidates participated and 9,510 were placed in various companies.
Apprising the present candidates of various self-employment schemes of the government, Rahul Vohra, VP, Model Career Centre also informed them about the written test after 100 hrs free training for job in Tata Consultancy Services-TCS.
Ashok Jindal District Employment Generation Skill Development and Training Officer Ferozepur said, 107 candidates were short-listed for Marketing Executives posts of 100 in Bharti Axa, 50 in IBEX World and 50 in Airtel.
He said, the counseling of IELTs cleared youths aspirant for study and employment on foreign land for the first round will be held during the entire month of March.
Gurjant Singh Placement Officer also put wiser the participating candidates about the various self-employment schemes. He also urged the skilled youths to participate in the Job Fairs being organized from time to time, to have an opportunity to get a job to stand on their own feet.
