Two cops booked in rape case in Ferozepur
Ferozepur May 11, 2016: The Ferozepur City police have booked two cops in the rape case, posted at the Drug De-addiction Centre on the statement of a woman from Fazilka. The alleged accused have been identified as Ram Parkash ASI and Boota Singh Hav.
As per the information given by Balwinder Singh, ASI, Kashmi (name changed) in her statement to the police have stated that her family had family relations with a person named Ram Parkash. On May 6, 2016, Ram Parkash phoned her late night to meet her at Civil Hospital, Ferozepur.
She has further stated that when she reached hospital along with his son, she was raped by both these persons when his son was sent for recharging of mobile.
After her medical examination, the victim – the complainant reported the matter to the police.
The police have registered a case under the relevant sections and under section 120-B of connivance of both the cops. As per the sources, no arrest has so far been made and investigations are still on.
