Train services affected due to redevelopment work at Chandigarh Station

Ferozepur, September 26, 2024: Starting from September 27, 2024, to October 7, 2024, several trains passing through Chandigarh station will face temporary disruptions due to ongoing redevelopment work. The Ambala Division of Northern Railways has announced a series of measures, including the short termination, short origination, and regulation of trains.
Key Affected Trains are – Firozpur Cantt-Chandigarh (T.No. 14630): Short-terminated at SAS Nagar Mohali (Sep 27 to Oct 6), Chandigarh-Firozpur (T.No. 14629): Short-originating from SAS Nagar Mohali (Sep 28 to Oct 7), Ramnagar-Chandigarh (T.No. 12527): Short-terminated at Ambala (Sep 30), Chandigarh-Ramnagar (T.No. 12528): Short-originating from Ambala (Sep 30).
Train Regulation is – Yesvantpur-Chandigarh (T.No. 22685): Delayed by 1 hour between Ambala and Chandigarh on Sep 28 and Oct 2, Prayagraj-Chandigarh (T.No. 14217): Delayed by 30 minutes on Sep 26, Oct 1, and Oct 3.
Additional Temporary Stops will be to ease passenger congestion, extra temporary stops will be provided at SAS Nagar Mohali and Ghaggar for selected trains, including Dehradun-Amritsar (T.No. 14631): Temporary stoppage at SAS Nagar Mohali (Sep 26 to Oct 5), New Delhi-Kalka (T.No. 14331): Temporary stoppage at Ghaggar (Sep 27 to Oct 6).
Passengers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly during this period and check for updates on train schedules, said Himanshu Shekhar Upadhyay, Chief Public Relations Officer, Northern Railway.
