THANK YOU TEACHERS- Saikrit Gulati
The Academic Session 2020-21 was an extraordinary one for the whole of our education system. We need to thank our teachers who kept the ray of hope alive even during this time of crisis. They conducted our virtual classes which went on fluently to the extent that we did not miss our classrooms.
Adding to our amazement is the smooth conduct of tests and assignments by our teachers in the online mode. Even the extra-curricular activities didn’t halt and were conducted at the same ease. We had an online poetry recitation competition and an online assembly. The poetry recitation turned out to be just as smooth as it would have been during the normal classes.
The first round’s virtual meeting had a time limit of 40 minutes in which, I fervently prayed that the limit won’t end before my turn. Thankfully, this didn’t happen. The second round was exceedingly good without any time bondage. We never felt that we were physically away from each other all due to our loving teachers. They helped us with every technological glitch during the competition.
Now, let me tell you something about our virtual assembly. Our teacher who was guiding us with the assembly was a great support to us during the rehearsals and the final day. The assembly was conducted wonderfully all due to her efforts. We did a lot of practice and even the meeting platform would have become exhausted but we did not all due to the motivation provided by our teacher.
Though there were some hassles of connectivity and sharing the songs and video, the D-day saw everyone appreciating the assembly. Such activities made us see the positive side of the current situation. I want to thank all our caring teachers for all they did to make education smooth in this session without an I-card.
