Stream Line Welfare Society organizes “Drug De-addiction Awareness Camp”

Ferozepur, February 16: The Stream Line Welfare Society – a dedicated NGO for the welfare of needy – organized “Drug De-addiction Awareness Camp” at Drug De-Addiction Centre at Civil Hospital, Ferozepur.

Diwan Chand Sukhija, President informed that SWS has so far organized more than 250 camps of medical checkup, drug de-addiction awareness camp, moral values etc.

The  counseling of drug patients getting daily treatment from the Civil Hospital was done by the Society members besides distributing fruits to them.

Kulbhushan Gautam, President Bharat Vikash Parishad presided over the camp.

Speaking on the occasion, Gautam said,  drug is ruining the life of youths of Punjab and it needs to be eradicated from our society as it has various impacts not from economic point of view but of developing of strained relations within the family members.

Advising the drug addicts, he said, you should come out of this chronic disease and get yourself trained in vocational courses to become independent in life.

Present on this occasion were Des Raj, Subhash Choudhary, Vice President, Seema and Aman.
