SP(Crime) Kashmir Kaur dies due to heart attack – Cremation on May 21 at 1 pm at Zira

Ferozepur, May 19, 2018:  SP (Crime Against Women) Kashmir Kaur in Ferozepur died due to the heart attack at his native place Zira. 

Only two days back, she had come from Canada after meeting her daughter and son-in-law. Presently, she was posted at Ferozepur and was on Ex-India leave.

She is survived by her husband – Sukhchain Singh, who is also Hav in Punjab Police, son – Sukhmanpreet Singh Dhillon, two daughters – Manpreet Kaur in Canada, Sukhpreet Kaur.

Kashmir Kaur was also honoured with President Award for her meritorious services in the police.

Kashmir Kaur was a bold, dedicated and disciplined officer.  She was the first Inspector In charge of Women Cell to deal with the martial dispute cases in 2000 in Ferozepur.  As SP(Crime against Women), she was also handling the sensitive martial dispute cases with more than 80 percent successful compromise rate.

IGP G.S.Dhillon, SSP Pritam Singh, SPD Ajmer Singh Bath, Amarjit Singh, SPH, Parminder Singh Pinki MLA and various political and social persons have expressed their sorrow on the sad demise of Kashmir Kaur.

The cremation of Kashmir Kaur with State Honours will be performed on May 21 Wednesday at 1 pm at Zira.
