SBS State Technical Campus won Bronze medals in Chess and Table-Tennis

 Ferozepur, September, 23, 2017 : The Table Tennis and Chess teams of boys of  Shaheed Bhagat Singh State Technical Campus have won Bronze medals while continuing to win the 'Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University Inter-College Tournaments'.

Institution Director Dr.T. S. Sidhu congratulated the winning teams and honored the players.

He said, “Apart from bookish knowledge of the stream of the students in the campus, the various sports events among the students play a vital role in developing the mental caliber and physical structure, apart from bookish knowledge.  

Dean Sports and Cultural Affairs, Tejpal Verma and Director Physical Education Dr. V S Bhullar said that the table tennis competitions were held at Bhai Gurdas College of Engineering and Technology Sangrur, in which seven teams participated and the Chess competitions were held at Baba Banda Singh Bahadar College  Fatehgarh Sahib, a total of 14 teams participated.

In these two competitions, the teams of SBS campus have won the title of the organization by getting third place.

On this occasion Dr.Rajiv Arora, Balwinder Singh and Mukesh Sachdeva were also present.
