Ferozeur April 24, 2016 : “Rukhsat-2K16” was organized in Polytechnic Wing of Shaheed Singh State Technical Campus, Ferozepur to bid farewell to final year passing out students of Diploma. A glittering ceremony was organized by second year students under the guidance of Prof. Rahul Chopra (Chairperson-AREB Society).

 

Principal Poly Wing, Prof Gazal Preet Singh was Chief Guest on this occasion. A very beautiful cultural extravaganza displaying the gigantic inherent talent in students of Polytechnic Wing was performed under the guidance of Prof. Rahul Chopra (Chairperson-AREB Society).

Prof Gazal Preet Singh praised the efforts students, faculty and staff of Polytechnic Wing for arranging farewell party to passing out students. He appreciated the efforts of second year students for organizing for the first time a gala evening ‘RUKHSAT’, to say Good Bye to third passing out batch of Poly Wing.

The entire audience was thrilled by stunning Solo Dance, Group Dance, Solo Song and Group Dance performances by students. In Solo Dance Ms Anshu of second year Electrical Engg, thrilled the gathering with her dancing skills.

 

Under surprise item categories among students in Forehead biscuit eating Mr Vikas Kumar of Mechanical Engg final year came first; in three leg race game Mr Shubham and Mr. Nitesh of Mechanical Engg final year came first; in Mathe-Pe-Bindiya game Azad Kumar came first; in Ball floating in glasses game Mr Shubham came first; in Candle and match box game Mr Sobkakat came first. In Green Chilly competition Mr. Dinesh Sharma came first by eating 23 chillies in 1 minute. In game of ball in egg tray Ms. Harpanthparteek Kaur came first.

 

Under surprise item categories among faculty in Pyramid building game Ms Kirandeep Kaur Lecturer in CSE came first.

 

The students of each branch gave comments to their mentor faculty members. Prof. Gazal Preet Singh, Principal Poly Wing and Dean Sports and Culture Affairs, wished all the students for their bright future and hoped that these young students will make positive contribution in changing the challenging world with their talent. Finally students urged the faculty to dance with them on DJ music to end the glittering ceremony.
